Back-to-School Summer Fest is an annual event for the entire family with FREE games, food, backpacks with school supplies, music, resource booths, giveaways and so much more, while supplies last! Our mission is to simply connect, grow, and serve together, and one of the ways we accomplish this is by reaching our community. Who is SummerFest for?

Back-to-School Summer Fest is a fun-filled event for the whole family. This event is strategically designed to help families in need by supplying not only school supplies but also resources.

Where do I park?

Great question!

This year, we will not allow anyone to park their vehicles inside the event parking lot. You may park across the street from the church. We strongly advise to cross the street using the crosswalk and with caution. There will be crossing guards to assist.

Is there something for my kids?

Absolutely.

Summerfest is geared towards Pre-K to 12th grade students.

There will be games, food and other activities for kids.

What does Summerfest look like?

The flow for the day is simple:

Upon entering the church parking lot, you'll be greeted by our friendly volunteers. You and your family will then walk over to be registered. After registering your family, you'll be free to gather your school supplies, clothes and food.

How can I volunteer?

Volunteering is EASY! You can fill out the volunteer form or you can show up the day of and we will find you a place to serve in during the event.

How can I sponsor the event?

You can sponsor the event by giving financially or by donating school supplies, food, or other event specific items to Calvary Bakersfield.
