Back-to-School Summer Fest is a fun-filled event for the whole family. This event is strategically designed to help families in need by supplying not only school supplies but also resources.

Great question! 

This year, we will not allow anyone to park their vehicles inside the event parking lot. You may park across the street from the church. We strongly advise to cross the street using the crosswalk and with caution. There will be crossing guards to assist. 

Absolutely.

Summerfest is geared towards Pre-K to 12th grade students. 

There will be games, food and other activities for kids. 

The flow for the day is simple:

Upon entering the church parking lot, you'll be greeted by our friendly volunteers. You and your family will then walk over to be checked-in. After checking in your family, you'll be free to gather your school supplies, clothes and food.

Volunteering is EASY! You can fill out the volunteer form or you can show up the day of and we will find you a place to serve in during the event. 

You can sponsor the event by giving financially or by donating school supplies, food, or other event specific items to Calvary Bakersfield.
