Who We Are
Our mission is simple: Connect with God and others, Grow spiritually, and Serve together.
This forms a cycle of faith: deepening our relationship with God (vertical), nurturing relationships with others (horizontal), maturing in faith (internal), and putting that faith into action through service (external). These steps align with the biblical call to live a purposeful, Christ-centered life. CONNECT. GROW. SERVE.
1. Connect with God and Others
This means nurturing a deep, personal relationship with God through prayer, worship, and devotion while building meaningful relationships with others in love and fellowship.
Scriptures:
Matthew 22:37-39: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’”
Hebrews 10:24-25: “And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”
2. Grow Spiritually
This speaks to intentional discipleship, studying God’s Word, practicing spiritual disciplines, and becoming more Christlike in character and actions.
Scriptures:
2 Peter 3:18: “But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen.”
Colossians 1:10: “So that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God.”
3. Serve Together
This emphasizes using one’s God-given gifts to serve others, demonstrating Christ’s love through acts of kindness and teamwork within the church and broader community.
Scriptures:
1 Peter 4:10: “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.”
Galatians 6:9-10: “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.”
